The Ashland County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the individual pictured below. He was last seen in the Glidden area, traveling on foot. He will most likely not be wearing the Hi-Viz shirt and no longer is in possession of the bike or helmet pictured below.

Salary:
· Starting: $20.22 Hourly while training
· Increases to $25.27 Hourly after training
· Annual Salary Increases at the discretion of the county board and implemented wage scales
· Hours - 40hrs / week, 2080hrs / year

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Associate’s degree with emphasis on Business Management, Finance, or Accounting preferred.

· Preference may be given for law enforcement support experience and Individuals with payroll experience are encouraged to apply.
· Eligible for TIME and Crime Information Bureau (CIB) system access

Description:
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy individual to fill the position of Open Records & Evidence / Property Custodian, responsible for providing general secretarial and administrative support to the Sheriff’s Office while serving as the primary administrative custodian for police evidence and property. This position plays a critical role in maintaining confidentiality, organizational efficiency, and legal compliance related to evidence handling, records management, and daily office operations.
This position also offers potential advancement opportunities, including training and assignment as a Crime Scene Evidence Technician, for the right candidate who demonstrates aptitude, reliability, and interest.

The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a part-time food service worker to perform kitchen related duties at the Ashland County Jail. The starting wage is $19.11 / hour, and are expected to work 20 hrs per week. Wage study has implemented increases. Inmate's will not be working with employee's, unless otherwise approved.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen. Must be able to perform tasks quickly and effectively. Individuals with felony convictions will not be considered. A background check and drug test is mandatory.
