The severe weather threat has tapered off for tonight. Showers and storms remain possible as a cold front approaches from the north and then sinks down through the area on Sunday. A nearby front then maintains daily chances of rain and storms for the upcoming work week.

A cold front approaching from the north will help trigger showers and strong to possibly severe thunderstorms this afternoon, which will drift southward into southeast Ohio and northern West Virginia into this evening. The main threats are Large Hail, Damaging Winds and Heavy Rainfall, to go along with the lightning. The threats are highest farthest north, where there is even a small potential for a Tornado.

Isolated to scattered severe storms will be possible across southeast OH and portions of northern and western WV from late Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. Damaging winds and hail are the main concerns.

🚧 Starting Monday, June 8, contractors will be milling and then paving Cumberland Avenue from 13th Street to Hager Street, along with Maryland Parkway from 13th Street to Coburn Avenue.
🚧On Monday, June 8, Raybourne Road from 13th Street to McKipp Drive will be closed for fire hydrant repairs.
