In observance of Memorial Day, there will be no meeting this week as we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

A few Memorial Day facts:
• Memorial Day was originally known as “Decoration Day” after the Civil War.
• The holiday became an official federal holiday in 1971.
• More than 25 places across the U.S. claim to be the birthplace of Memorial Day.
• At 3:00 PM local time on Memorial Day, Americans are encouraged to observe a National Moment of Remembrance.

We look forward to seeing everyone back next week!

Service Above Self: Repair Affair 26’
Annual community event for the City helping 30 homeowners repair & maintain properties -
The club gathered at Central Park to start - t shirts, breakfast & drinks to go start the day !!

Thanks to our club volunteers for stepping up 7:30 am to 10:30 + Saturday morning giving back to those in need !) 🙏🏻☮️🌎😇

Join us today at 11:45 AM as we gather at their downtown space to learn more about the creative work they’re doing across our region, and enjoy a great lunch!

Club President Stephan Harris accepted the award for the 5 star club designation at the Rotary District 6740 Conference over the weekend.

It reads,
“5 Star Club
Award presented to The Rotary Club of Ashland
for achieving the highest Standards of Excellence within the Five Avenues of Service
2025-2026”.

We are proud of this rare designation! 💫
