🏊☀️ The wait is over—Daniel Meyer Pool is officially open for the 2026 season!

We're excited to welcome swimmers back for another summer of fun in the sun. While the pool opens today for lap swim, public Recreation Swim begins Friday, June 5.

📌Update: As of today, June 8, 2026, the water quality alert for Ashland Creek at the Lithia Park playground has been lifted. Water quality will be checked again on Friday, June 12 and we will update if anything changes.

⚠️ WATER QUALITY ADVISORY ⚠️

Water quality testing conducted on May 29 at the Ashland Creek swim area near the Lithia Park Playground found elevated levels of E. coli bacteria, making the area unsafe for swimming and water contact at this time.

For your safety, please avoid swimming, wading, or other water contact in this area until further notice. Signs have been posted at the site.

The Swim Reservoir at the top of Lithia Park was also tested and is safe for swimming at this time.

Water quality testing is conducted every Friday from May 24 through September 25. We will provide updates when the creek is safe for swimming again.

We made it safely to Portland and are on our way to California! ☀️✈️😊

Today was really special as we got the chance to celebrate our House Manager, Ruby, and say goodbye before she moves on the her next chapter.
We don’t always get the opportunity to come together like this when a manager leaves, and it meant so much to everyone. It was a beautiful way to honor the time, care, and support she’s given, and it will help make this transition a little easier as we get used to seeing her elsewhere.
