The Ashland Family YMCA exists to fulfill human potential and to enrich the quality of life of those we serve through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Your membership includes use of the fitness center, wellness studio and aquatic center, participation in fitness and water fitness classes, use of the basketball and volleyball courts during scheduled hours, use of sauna,

shower and locker rooms, reduced program fees. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult or enrolled in a supervised YMCA program. Non-swimming children must be accompanied by an adult member while in the pool.

Calling All Young Ninjas! Adventure, Action, and Mega Obstacle Courses Await!

Looking for a fun and active summer experience for your child? We kicked off the fun last week, and there's still time to join the adventure! We have room for more young ninjas and would love to welcome your child to the challenge.

The Ashland Family YMCA's Jr. Ninja Challenge is designed for ages 4–6 and combines movement, imagination, and adventure through exciting obstacle courses inspired by ninja warrior challenges.

Each session includes a warm-up and stretch, multiple obstacle courses, two exciting MEGA COURSES, a snack break, and fun group games—keeping young ninjas active, engaged, and having fun from start to finish.

📅 Fridays | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on the following dates:
June 19, 26
July 10, 17, 24, 31
August 7, 14, 21

🌲 Staff Training Weekend at YMCA Camp DeBoer has begun!

Before campers arrive, our summer staff spend days learning, preparing, and building the skills needed to create a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable camp experience. From waterfront certifications and child abuse prevention training to camp traditions, mentoring, arts and crafts, campfires, and team-building, this weekend was all about preparing to serve young people with excellence.

Every friendship formed, challenge conquered, and memory made this summer starts with a team committed to helping campers discover their potential and feel like they belong.

🎉 Happy Founders Day, YMCA!

On June 6, we celebrate the founding of the YMCA in London, England, where George Williams and 11 young men came together in 1844 with a vision of building a supportive community for young people.

More than 180 years later, that vision continues to change lives around the world—including right here in Ashland.

This year is especially meaningful as we also celebrate 175 years of YMCA service in the United States, honoring the first U.S. YMCA established in Boston in 1851.

Today, we celebrate our Legacy, the Impact we make in our communities every day, and the Promise we carry forward for future generations.

With half-day and full-day options, our Preschool Programs run Monday – Friday from 7:45a-5:30p to support working families.
