The City of Ashland has created a Water Use Dashboard for public use. The dashboard is interactive and provides community members with a way to view water usage, Reeder reservoir levels, rainfall amounts and inputs from alternate water sources which include the Talent Irrigation District (TID) and Talent-Ashland-Phoenix (TAP) sources.

This month Ecochallenge.org is hosting a Plastic Free challenge that focuses on reducing our single-use plastic usage. There are many ways to make the swap, like carrying around reusable utensils or shopping in the bulk section at the grocery store.

Plastic Free Ecochallenge is a month-long effort for all of us to shift away from our single-use plastic dependency while prioritizing public healthy and safety as much as possible during this pandemic. Find creative and innovative ways to reduce your single-use plastic consumption.

To spread awareness about induction cooking, the City of Ashland will be donating 3 portable induction cooktops with cookware to the Jackson County Library Services - Oregon They will be in the Library of Things catalog this summer. All you need is a library card to check one out! We are happy to have this technology be accessible to everyone.

🍳 Induction cooking is here! We are happy to announce the launch of our new induction cooktop/range incentive program. The incentive is for the permanent installation of a cooktop or range for residential or commercial applications. Induction cooking to known to be faster, more precise, and more efficient! From a safety standpoint, there is no open flame or indoor air pollution that is generated from combustion.

Due to the success of our e-bike pilot program, we have been able to make it a permanent incentive program! Due to this, some program guidelines will be changing slightly.
🚲 We are now allowing class 1 and class 2 e-bikes!
🚲 The incentive amount is changing from $300 to $200.
🚲 We are no longer requiring the use of vouchers.
