We’re excited to announce that Lily Teeple will join the Ashland Community Development Corporation (ACDC) as Executive Director, effective July 1.
Lily brings a strong and rapidly growing track record in community and economic development across Nebraska. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Hastings College and has a background in planning, including time with the City of Hastings, where she supported development and urban planning initiatives. Lily is passionate about strengthening communities and fostering relationships that support the people, businesses, and partnerships that drive long-term success.
Most recently, she served as Executive Director of The Lark in Hastings, where she leads fundraising, donor engagement, and programming that strengthens community connection and regional cultural activity. In addition, she serves as Director of the Hastings Business Improvement District, where she leads a coordinated downtown development effort—working directly with business owners, property owners, and community leaders to strengthen the district, drive investment, and enhance overall economic vitality. She has also played a key role in launching Revitalize & Thrive, a statewide initiative focused on retaining young professionals and addressing rural workforce challenges.
Her experience spans downtown development, business engagement, and public-private collaboration. Across her work, she has successfully secured and supported over $800,000 in grants and development funding.
Lily will help lead ACDC’s next phase, building on strong momentum and deepening partnerships that drive continued success across multiple projects and initiatives. In her role, she will support key oversight areas of ACDC, including the Creative District, Flora District, the Ashland Tourism Bureau, and continued partnership and alignment with the City of Ashland, the Ashland Chamber of Commerce, and Saunders County.
ACDC’s work is guided by five core pillars:
-Partnerships for Progress
-Positioning for the Future
-Increasing Quality of Life
-Marketing and Advocacy
-Catalyzing Community Change
We are grateful for the strength of our community partners and the collaboration that makes this work possible. ACDC remains deeply aligned with Saunders County and regional partners, and we look forward to continuing to grow together, coordinating efforts that support long-term success across Ashland, the county, and the broader region.
Please join us in welcoming Lily to the Ashland community.
