Today, Jake Eick takes his first step towards becoming a United States Airman and officially begins Basic Military Training!

Upon graduation from BMT Jake will begin tech school. He is guaranteed the job of Nondestructive Inspection Apprentice . No matter how well we maintain our equipment, wear and tear and metal fatigue can occur without visible signs. Responsible for employing noninvasive methods to inspect the insides of metal objects, Nondestructive Inspection specialists identify possible defects in systems and equipment before anything can become a dangerous problem. Utilizing everything from x-rays to ultrasound, these experts find the smallest imperfections and take the corrective measures needed to keep our equipment working safely.

Tomorrow, Nathan Capling takes his first step towards becoming a United States Airman and officially begins Basic Military Training!

Upon graduation from BMT Nathan will begin tech school. He is guaranteed the job of Intelligence Analyst. More and more, the fighting isn't done just on the battlefield but in intelligence centers around the world, and thus recognizing and exploiting intelligence information can be the difference between victory and defeat. As a Network Intelligence Analyst, your responsibilities will range from producing technical and operations briefings to identifying real-time threat warning levels. You will literally be the eyes and ears of the Air Force.

Tomorrow, Hannah Brockhoeft takes her first step towards becoming a United States Airman and officially begins Basic Military Training!

Upon graduation from BMT Hannah will begin tech school. She is guaranteed the job of Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory Apprentice. Any time a piece of equipment or machinery is used, there are an infinite number of things that need to work perfectly. Responsible for calibrating equipment used in virtually every phase of maintenance, Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory specialists ensure that every piece of equipment is in precise working order. These experts must utilize exacting attention to detail as they take measurements in increments as small as millionths to ensure everything is safe for our Airmen to operate.

Tomorrow, Jacob Wise takes his first step towards becoming a United States Airman and officially begins Basic Military Training! Jacob is a graduate of South Point High School! He is enlisting for 6 years at the rank of E-3!

Upon graduation from BMT Jacob will begin tech school. He is guaranteed a job in the maintenance field. The Air Force employs hundreds of tactical aircraft to complete our missions, including fighters, strike-fighters, attack and cargo planes. Jacobs efforts in his job will have a direct affect on the Air Forces mission every single day.
