Over the past 3 days, the crews have been training on grain bin rescues. A member of our department brought in a gravity wagon full of corn from his farm for us to safely practice extricating “victims” trapped in corn. This method of practice allows us to safely work in a controlled environment with a realistic media while getting multiple reps in. Today’s pictures are from A-crew.

🔥Burn Ban in Effect🔥

Every year the state of Ohio issues a state wide burn ban for the months of March, April, May, October, and November. During these months between the hours of 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. no outside open burning is permitted anywhere in the state.

Outside of these months certain regulations still apply to open burning depending on your location either in the city or township.
