Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave everything so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.

As we spend time with family and friends, let us never forget the heroes who are no longer with us. Their sacrifice will always be remembered.

Proud to live in the land of the free because of the brave. ❤️🤍💙

This week is to recognize and appreciate EMS. It should really be done daily. We have an outstanding group of AEMT’s, Paramedics , and Critical Care Paramedics serving Cheatham County. The job can be stressful and under valued but these folks do it anyway. I could not be more proud of my employees. If you see anyone from Cheatham County EMS or any other EMS provider, let them know how much they are appreciated.

To say that we are extremely proud of these 8 employees is an understatement! These 8 AEMT’s took on the responsibility of advancing their EMS careers to next level by attending Paramedic school during 2025/2026 school year. They put their family life on hold to complete school. We would like to recognize their families for the sacrifices that they made to allow them to complete the program. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! They were afforded this opportunity through Gov Bill Lee’s educational initiative called the “Rural Health Grant”. They were able to attend the paramedic program at no cost to them. This was a major opportunity for these folks.

Every one of these folks have passed the program!! Four of them have already taken their National Registry Paramedic Boards and passed on the first attempt! The other four will take theirs in the next few days.

Please join me in congratulating these new Paramedics on their monumental achievement! Paramedics school is not easy, and these folks nailed it!

The impact that these 8 new paramedics will have on the citizens of Cheatham County and Cheatham County EMS will be one for the books!

Congratulations y’all!!!
