🍃 Help Keep Ashford Safe and Clean 🍃

When mowing your yard, please do not blow grass clippings into the street or pile any yard debris in the street.

Grass clippings and yard debris can create a hazard for motorcycles, bicycles, and other vehicles, block drainage, and make our streets look less clean.

As we continue working to keep Ashford looking better we ask everyone to help by keeping grass and yard debris out of the roadway.

💧 WATER CONSERVATION PLAN REMAINS IN EFFECT 💧

While the restrictions on filling pools, washing vehicles, and other outdoor water uses have been lifted, the City of Ashford’s Water Conservation Plan will remain in place for lawn irrigation and routine watering.

This plan is designed to reduce unnecessary strain on our water system while still allowing residents to maintain their lawns under the odd/even address schedule shown below.

This is not a water ban. It is simply a conservation measure that helps us manage demand, protect our water supply, and ensure reliable service for everyone.

We appreciate everyone’s continued cooperation and understanding as we work to be good stewards of our community’s water resources. 💧❤️

Good news! Water levels have improved, and we are now able to lift the outdoor water use pause.

Thank you to everyone who helped conserve water during this time. Your cooperation made a difference.

An odd/even lawn watering schedule will be posted tomorrow to help us continue managing water use responsibly.

🔥 BURN BAN LIFTED 🔥

The City of Ashford has officially lifted the burn ban effective immediately.

Residents may resume outdoor burning in accordance with all applicable state and local regulations.

Please continue to use caution when burning outdoors and never leave a fire unattended. Weather conditions can change quickly, and safety should always remain a priority.

Thank you for your cooperation during the burn ban and for helping keep our community safe.
