🚌 NEED A RIDE? LET THE SHUTTLE GET YOU THERE!

UNC Asheville’s campus shuttles are back in service for the academic year! Whether you’re headed to class, your residence hall, an off-campus apartment, or making a quick grocery run, take advantage of this convenient transportation option. No need to call in for a ride, shuttles run on a continuous loop and will be around shortly to each stop on their route.

🔵 BLUE ROUTE | Monday–Friday | 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Serves The Verge, Campus Drive, the Bulldog Statue/Kimmel, Governor’s Hall, Highsmith Student Union, Zeis Hall, P28 ART stop, Owen Hall, and STEAM Studio.

🔴 RED ROUTE | Monday–Friday | 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Serves Hawthorne Northside, Edgewood Road/P34, Owen Hall, the Bulldog Statue/Kimmel, Governor’s Hall, Highsmith Student Union, Health & Counseling, and the P28 ART stop.

🌙 EVENING SHUTTLE | Monday–Friday | 5–10 p.m.
Services all Red and Blue Route stops, plus the CVS & Harris Teeter plaza on Merrimon Avenue.

🛒 SATURDAY SHUTTLE | 12–4 p.m.
Runs between Highsmith Student Union and Harris Teeter on Merrimon Avenue.

Open the SafeZone App and select “Buses” to view shuttle routes and live shuttle locations.

⚠️ Shuttle service operates while classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters, including reading days and exam week. Service is not provided during university holidays, semester breaks, or Summer I and II sessions.

🚫 PLEASE DON’T BLOCK THE DUMPSTERS! 🚫

As everyone gets settled back on campus, UNC Asheville Police would like to remind our campus community to park only in designated parking areas and never block dumpsters or access areas.

🗑️ Why does it matter?
Dumpsters must remain accessible so sanitation vehicles can safely enter, empty them, and exit. Vehicles parked in front of or too close to dumpsters can prevent scheduled service and create unnecessary safety and sanitation issues.

🚗 Please remember:

Park only in designated spaces.
Keep dumpster areas and access lanes completely clear.
Do not park “just for a minute” in front of a dumpster.
Be mindful of service vehicles that need extra room to maneuver.

⚠️ Vehicles blocking dumpsters or other restricted access areas may be subject to enforcement or towing.

A little consideration goes a long way in keeping our campus clean, safe, and accessible for everyone.

The hustle and bustle on campus is officially in full swing as we welcome even more students back to UNC Asheville for Day 2 of Move-In! 🐾📦

As students and families get settled in, UNC Asheville Police officers and university staff are out across campus assisting with traffic, directions, and the move-in process.

🚙 Please be patient while traveling around campus. You may experience temporary traffic delays as vehicles are directed to residence halls and students unload their belongings. Give yourself a little extra time, follow directions from officers and staff, and help us keep everyone safe.

We’re excited to see campus coming back to life and wish all of our new and returning Bulldogs a safe, successful, and amazing year!
