Hands & Feet of Asheville

Hands & Feet of Asheville Young adult service corps in WNC making a difference at the intersection of faith, service, and justice.

Hands and Feet of Asheville is a year long, progressive, Ecumenical Christian service program for young adults to pursue their passions, serve others, build community, and explore faith. Throughout the year, participants clarify their own sense of meaning and purpose and discern their sense of call through direct service at a local non-profit, living in intentional community, and reflecting on the

ir experiences. Volunteers leave the year with concrete skills and inspiration for a lifetime of caring.

✨ Meet the Fellow: Gaby Sanclimenti (she/her) ✨

Gaby is a Hands and Feet Fellow serving as a Program Associate with FIRSTwnc, and we’re so grateful for the care and creativity she brings to our community. 💛

Here are just a few reasons we love Gaby:
🧠 Her deep thoughtfulness and emotional intelligence
💬 The way she listens with intention and shows up with empathy
🩰 Her lifelong love of dance and creative self-expression
🍰 Her love of baking (and sharing the joy that comes with it!)
💫 Her gentle presence that makes people feel seen and valued

With a background in psychology and art history, Gaby is especially interested in the intersection of mental health and the arts—and we can’t wait to see how she continues to grow, connect, and serve alongside FIRSTwnc and the Asheville community. ✨
