Meet APR Team Member Will Ray!

When did you join the team?
📍 I joined in January 2024 as a Crew Lead. I was inspired to work with the community and am proud of how fast I have grown in the department.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of?
📍 Working for APR is about showing that we love our city and community and parks. In the time I’ve been with the department, I’ve developed more understanding by listening to the community.

How have impacts of Tropical Storm Helene changed or affected the way you approach your work?
📍 The small things do matter – like a bottle of water and making sure to talk to people.

What do you do when you’re not working?
📍 You’ll find me being with family and at my kids’ sports activities.

How would you complete this sentence: I work for APR because…
🌱 ...We build memories through the best high-quality work we can offer and always being a smiling face helping the community.
