At this time we have 51 member-owners still without power. Our crews will continue working until every affected member-owner has been restored to service.

A tremendous thank you to all of our dedicated crews and contractors who have worked tirelessly through the night and into this morning to restore power to our communities. We’re incredibly grateful for their hard work, commitment and determination to get the lights back on for our member-owners.

We understand how difficult it may be without power for an extended time and thank you for your continued patience and support.

At this hour, your REMC crews and contractors continue to make repairs and restore power lost due to the severe storms and high winds that hit our region Saturday afternoon.

Although our crews continue to make steady progress, multiple outages remain scattered across our system, leaving 622 still without power.

Work will continue throughout the morning and possibly afternoon, until service is fully restored to all of our member-owners. Until then, please stay clear of, and report, any downed power lines you may see.

Again, we understand the difficulty of being without power, and we appreciate your patience as crews work to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.

Our service area was hit hard by severe storms and high winds this afternoon, resulting in widespread outages across our system.

At this time, we have approximately 1,200 member-owners still without power. Our crews have made significant progress this evening and will continue to work safely and steadily through the night and into the early hours of Sunday morning until service is restored.

We also have additional resources assisting our crews as we work to bring the lights back on to every affected member as quickly and safely as possible.

Please continue to stay away from downed power lines and report any hazards you see. We know being without power is difficult, and we appreciate your patience as crews work around the clock.

Your REMC crews are currently responding to several power outages throughout our service territory as strong and severe storms have just moved through the area.

Crews are actively assessing damage and restoring power as conditions as safety and conditions allow. Restoration may take longer in some areas, due to the amount of outages and extent of damages.

We appreciate your patience as your REMC crews work to safely restore power as quickly as possible through the evening and into tonight. Please stay safe, and avoid any downed power lines you may encounter.
