🐔🐰🏆 **Celebrating Our Randolph County 4-H Poultry & Rabbit Show Exhibitors!** 🏆🐰🐔

What a fantastic night at the Randolph County 4-H Poultry & Rabbit Show on Thursday! We had a wonderful time watching our 4-H’ers showcase their animals, demonstrate their showmanship skills, and show off their creativity and hard work. From handsome roosters and unique chickens to our rabbit exhibitors, it was a night full of learning, smiles, and 4-H pride! 💚

The show was held in the Kiwanis Club of Asheboro 4-H Classroom and the Duke Energy Foundation Gardener Lab. We are thankful to have these spaces to provide hands-on learning experiences for our youth!

A special thank-you to Sam Baker, United Way Director, for judging our Combined Costume Contest! Thank you all for helping make this event such a great experience for our youth.

Congratulations to ALL of our exhibitors! Whether you earned a placing or participated to learn something new, we are proud of you. Experiences like these help young people develop responsibility, confidence, sportsmanship, and a deeper understanding of animal care.

🌱🚜 A dream years in the making! 🚜🌱

After years of dreaming about having a space large enough to host a field trip of this size, we finally made it happen at the Randolph County Agriculture Center! ❤️

We were thrilled to welcome Asheboro City Schools 4th graders for an exciting hands-on experience exploring the many different aspects of agriculture. From livestock and poultry to forestry, soil and water conservation, agricultural technology, nutrition, and so much more, students had the opportunity to learn just how much agriculture impacts their everyday lives.

Seeing this dream come to life in our new Agriculture Center was incredibly special. What was once an idea is now an opportunity to connect hundreds of students with agriculture, inspire curiosity, and help the next generation understand where their food comes from and the important role agriculture plays in our community. 🌾🐄🐓

A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers, community partners, agricultural professionals, educators, and students who helped make this event possible! It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

The Kiwanis Club of Asheboro 4-H classroom was full of laughter, determination and brainstorming. We had so much fun this morning at the first session of Plugged In: the ULTIMATE Circuit Building Experience. We experimented with batteries, cardboard, paper clips aluminum foil and light bulbs making our own circuits as well as with snap circuits some that can fly a paper plane and some that go along with bricks to create structures.

There are two more opportunities to join: THIS Friday, October 16 (a teacher workday for Randolph County Schools) OR Monday, October 19 (a teacher workday for Asheboro City Schools)
