Shortly after 5AM, ESFD and automatic-aid were dispatched to a structure fire on Gold Hill Rd. Units arrived to find a fully-involved storage building with exposure to two other structures. Two attack lines were stretched to knock down the main body of fire before crews performed overhaul.

Thanks to our assisting agencies who provided apparatus and manpower.

Around midnight, ESFD and automatic-aid were dispatched to a structure fire on Barkwood Rd. Units arrived to find a fully-involved detached garage. Two attack lines were stretched to knock down the main body of fire before crews performed overhaul.

ESFD, RCEMS, and SHP responded to this vehicle accident last night on Highway 42 S. at Brower’s Chapel Rd. There were no injuries and traffic was backed up for approximately one hour until the vehicles were removed.

Around noon today, ESFD responded to a vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer on Grantville Ln. near Bethel Friends Rd. Units arrived to find an over-turned tractor-trailer blocking the roadway. The driver was not injured and it was determined that the load was not hazardous. Crews remained on scene for almost three hours while the scene was cleared.
