We're excited to be working with UNCG in a collaborative partnership to learn more about the history and lifeways of the Strieby community. The mission statement for our Strieby Cultural Heritage Collaborative project is as follows,

"The Strieby Cultural Heritage Collaborative brings together archaeology, history, and anthropology to preserve, interpret, and share the living legacy of the Strieby community. Through transdisciplinary research and deep community partnership, the Collaborative connects past, present, and future by transforming evidence and memory into a shared historical record. Our mission is to sustain Strieby’s heritage as a living history that can be experienced by communities across central North Carolina and beyond."

We look forward to learning more about history, through this collaboration.
