Some FAQs from the meeting:
1. Can I audition for the Cast and interview for the Tech Crew? Yes, you may audition and interview!
2. If I am cast in a role and receive a position on the Tech Crew, can I do both? It depends. If you are cast in a role, you may be on the Tech Crew in Marketing or Hair/Makeup Design because these Tech Crew roles do not require working during performances.
3. The Cast Conflict Calendar is not linked on the website. How can I access the calendar? The link has been updated on the Cast Auditions webpage.
4. My printer is not working. How can we give you the Cast Conflict Calendar? Save a copy on your computer, fill it out, and email it to our director at least two days before your audition.

Whether you're walking, riding, biking, being dropped off, staff greeting our kids, the first day is always full of excitement, nerves, and all the feels. Have a great day. Make eye contact, smile, take the notes, and remember that YOU MATTER! Have a great year!

O.K., TMS we are almost there. Our students have many modes of transportation from walking, biking, car riders, bus riders, let's all ensure that we have a safe year. Slow down, be aware, and follow the road laws for the safety of our kiddos, staff, and community.

Thank you to everyone that came out to our scavenger hunt and picnic today.

A special shout out to all our volunteers including Gary Hylton for manning the grill ,students Dylan H, Sophie C, and finally 3 future Timberwolves Layla H, Emily G and Sloane H for volunteering to help distribute food. Our events would not be as successful without our wonderful parent and student volunteers.

We are in need of 2 or 3 volunteers to help set up and distribute food at the TMS Scavenger Hunt and picnic on Tuesday August 20th. This is open to adults and students as well and would only take an hour or two.

Well it is that time of the year again. Calendars filling up, sports/clubs/extracurriculars on the schedule, car pools, dr. appts, and I will personally add one more. We have a few open volunteer spots for TMS PTSA this year. We don't ask as much time at the Middle School level, but we still have opportunities for you to show your kids and staff that you are willing and able to volunteer at their school. We don't have as many meetings, most committee meetings are virtual, most are not year long, but most importantly you will be part of the MS team of families that are all in this together. If you're interested, we have some "I need you for a couple of hours before work" or "I need you to help serve on a committee" or "whatever you can help with, we will find a spot"

Congratulations to two LCPS alumni heading to Paris for the 2024 Olympics! Weini Kelati, a Heritage High School graduate, qualified by winning the 10,000 meters in the U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials. Emily Fox, a Stone Bridge High School graduate, is one of the players named to the U.S. Women's Olympic Soccer Team. Let's cheer them on as they represent the USA at the Olympics in Paris, France. Good Luck!

Last night when the baseball game was over, your TMS MS Baseball team won the Championship with a 4-1 win over Willard MS. Congratulations to the team, the families that supported them, the fans and staff that cheered them on and keep throwing the ball around this summer. "Baseball was, is, and always will be the best game in the world to me." - Babe Ruth. Our TMS baseball thinks the same way!!

Information session TONIGHT (Wednesday, June 12) at 6:30pm! This will include the bell schedule, sessions on planning, testing, homework, MTSS interventions, and flex block. Our last PTSA Meeting was tonight. What we offer is a hybrid model for our meetings which we feel is the best of both worlds, In person tonight we invited rising 6th grade parents and their kids and after the meeting they received their own personal tour from Mrs. Beichler. Part of the "S" in PTSA is the privilege to work, volunteer, and build relationships with the students at TMS. The Trailside Middle School PTSA had a great year building that relationship with the SCA (Student Council). They were presented certificates from the PTSA for all of their work and we look forward to watching how the 8th graders lead at SBHS and how the upcoming leaders of the SCA continue their skills and friendships. Thank you to the kids and Teacher Representative and have a great upcoming summer!

Mother's Day is a time to celebrate All of our Mom's and at TMS we all celebrate those mom's today. Mom's, whoever they may be and wherever they may be including those that support and love us in their own way are remembered every day, but especially today. Those that take care of us every day, we "Thank You" Happy Mother's Day!

TMS Pilot Letter from Mrs. Beichler, in case you didn't see it yet.
Dear Trailside Community,
We are very excited to share that Trailside Middle School will have the opportunity to implement a new daily schedule next year!

Trailside Middle School will be piloting an eight period schedule next year in place of the four block schedule each day. Students will have all of their classes every day for approximately 41 minutes, except for sixth and seventh grade music elective which will continue to be every other day.

We will be holding an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30 PM in the auditorium. We hope you are able to attend.
