Did you know that Amazon Web Services has voluntarily delivered meal bags for LEF's Fueled⚡️ program since 2022?
It's true! ✅
Amazon has two of their drivers load up their delivery trucks each Thursday during the school year to deliver meal bags to more than 1,300 students at about 40 Loudoun County Public Schools! 🚛
Since 2022, they have donated about 1,200 in hours of driver time. 🙌

PROPEL Summer Camp: Battle Bots Teach Hands-On STEM
The PROPEL Summer STEM Camp for Loudoun County Public Schools students is under a new, two-week format this summer, and the results are undeniable 🚀

BEAM is Back! LEF-Funded Advanced Math Program Returns
BEAM is back! ♾️
Loudoun County Public Schools' Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics program begins next week, serving 180 seventh- and eighth-grade students.
Four years ago, LEF helped bring on funding partners, such as The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, to launch BEAM in Loudoun County.
Now, it's an annual summer program that equips middle school students to excel in advanced mathematics.

STEAM Day at Simpson Middle School with AWS
Students at Simpson Middle School recently took part in STEAM Day, a schoolwide event with 20-plus stations that invited students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

Professionals from the tech industry also worked some of the stations and shared their experience working in tech careers.

LEF presented three $12,000 checks — to two high school seniors and one Loudoun County Public Schools classified employee — who are pursuing their teaching degrees.
These scholarships were the focus of our Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties Give Choose campaign, and are made possible through generous donations from several local small businesses and individuals.
Thank you especially to Integrative Chiropractic, Joanna Claustro DMD, Loudoun Center for Oral Surgery - Dr. Jason Bae, Ace Handyman Services Loudoun and NW Prince William Counties and Dr. Jenni Biobbio for being passionate about raising up the next generation of teachers!

We received 40 applications for Innovation in Education Grants, and will fund 31 projects, totaling more than $30k in grants!
This school year, we awarded nearly $70k for these special projects that help students be successful in the classroom and beyond 🙌

Thanks to the generosity of Northrop Grumman Corporation, more than 400 Loudoun County Public Schools 4th-through-8th-grade students took part in the recent Innovation Day!
The robotics competition was held at the LCPS Academies, and drew 120 teams, eager to showcase their designing, building, and coding skills.
The students are from LCPS’ PROPEL and Level Up programs, which equip students from underserved populations for rigourous coursework in high school and beyond.
