Come along with us during National Nutrition Month to experience a day in the life of a School Nutrition Services worker for LCPS! On this day, the team at Stone Bridge High School works alongside LCPS’ executive chef, Erik Madsen, as he helps prepare and train the staff for a new menu item. The dish, Lomo Saltado, is a popular Peruvian beef stir fry. Yum! Chef Erik travels around the county daily ensuring the food quality, meal presentation, sanitation and safety of each cafeteria is up to standard.
A career in School Nutrition Services for LCPS is exciting, rewarding and educational. If you’re passionate about food services and would love a schedule that revolves around the school day, check out our open positions! https://lcps.org/schoolnutrition
