Meet Owen and his best friend, Trapper. 🐾

From the moment they were matched through the Stink Bug Project at Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, something special began.

Trapper, a gentle Labrador, was placed with Owen to be more than a companion—he became a steady source of comfort, support, and friendship in everyday life.

Owen was born with multiple congenital anomalies and has faced significant medical challenges since birth. But having Trapper by his side has brought moments of calm, connection, and joy into his world.

This is what the Stink Bug Project is all about—giving children a loyal companion to help them through some of life’s difficult moments. 💙🐶

For families bringing their baby home from the NICU, a car seat isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. But car seats can be expensive, and for many families already navigating the emotional and financial stress of a NICU stay, it can feel like one more overwhelming hurdle.
