🚆 Good news, transit riders!

Starting June 7, trains on the G Line will start running at 15-minute intervals again. Our friends at RTD are making the change to better match demand and improve reliability during busy commuting times.

Trains will run every 15 minutes between 6am and 9pm Monday-Friday and 8am-6pm Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Bus Route 80, which runs between the Olde Town Hub and W. 80th Avenue on Wadsworth, then east on 80th, will also be reinstated on weekdays only.

ATTENTION: Slash drop-off now open!

The recent snow storm brought us much-needed water, but as with all things there’s always some sort of trade-off. That beautiful snow unfortunately took down a lot of branches and trees across the city.

Beginning today through Sunday, May 17 the City will be accepting branches and tree limbs (and ONLY these things) at Long Lake Regional Park between 8:00am-2:00pm.

The City of Arvada’s free tree limb drop-off site for residents is now open at Long Lake Regional Park following this week’s snowstorm.

📍 Long Lake Regional Park (17850 W. 64th Ave.)
🗓 Open daily through Sunday, May 17
🕗 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Arvada residents may drop off tree limbs and branches free of charge with proof of residency.

Please remember:
• Tree limbs and branches only
• No contractors/commercial dumping
• Participants must unload their own material

You’re going to be seeing a little extra work in Olde Town next week as we get spiffed up for summer! The outdoor dining parklets and street murals will need to be removed, but:
