Now Hiring Lifeguards – Summer 2026!

Arthur Community Park District is looking for lifeguards for the upcoming summer season!

✔ Must be at least 15 years old
✔ Lifeguard certification required
✔ Great summer job with flexible scheduling

We strongly encourage applicants to consider becoming certified — it’s a great opportunity to gain responsibility, leadership skills, and valuable experience.

That’s a wrap for the summer! The Arthur Community Pool is officially closed for the season. We want to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the sunshine, cool water, and summer fun with us.

A special thank you to all who were patient and understanding when we had a few bumps along the way, your support means so much to us. We can’t wait to see you back next summer!

Arthur Pool Is Open During Fair Week!

Please note:
• Entrance will be through the Spruce Street gates. From there, you’ll need to walk around to the front of the pool to enter through our regular entrance.
• There will be no parking in the pool parking lot during fair week. All parking must be on the street.

Due to a private event at the pool today, we will be closing early at 2:30 PM.

Arthur Pool-

Due to the heat this aftoonernoon, our pH level dropped just below the required range, and we had to close the pool for the rest of the day. This break will help us bring the levels back up safely in time for tomorrow. We apologize and thank you for understanding.

Due to the rainy forecast lasting through this evening, the Arthur Pool will be closed today. The good news is we’re expecting clear skies and high temps tomorrow, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for a fun day at the pool!

Great news! The pipe leak has been fixed! If the weather allows, the Arthur Pool will be open today from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM for a little late night swim. We’ll keep an eye on the weather and share updates if anything changes. Hope to see you there!
