The annual Creeks to Coast Cleanup is happening Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to noon, with cleanup sites throughout San Luis Obispo County.

The world’s shortest, cutest race is back! 🌾🎉 The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services is thrilled to once again host the annual Diaper Derby during the 89th Arroyo Grande Harvest Festival!
👶 Children 36 months and younger are invited to crawl, scoot, wiggle and race their way to the finish line at the Rotary Bandstand at Heritage Square Park on Saturday, September 26 at 12 p.m.
🏆 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in each age division will take home an adorable baby-shaped trophy! 🥇🥈🥉
✨ Registration is FREE!

Today, we honor the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call 25 years ago, on September 11, 2001.

Located at Station 1 on Station Way in Arroyo Grande is a piece of steel from the World Trade Center symbolizing our unwavering commitment to never forget.
The memorial is open to the public to honor those 2,977 victims, the 343 members of the New York City Fire Department, and the 71 law enforcement officers who lost their lives.

American Flags will be lowered to half-staff all day.

🚗 Arroyo Grande residents currently drive to neighboring cities to buy cannabis, which sends local tax dollars out of town to fund services in other communities.

🗳️ On Nov. 3rd, voters will have an opportunity to decide on Measure C-26, which could allow the City to establish a cannabis business tax of up to 10%.

🛣️ If approved, this measure is projected to generate approximately $500,000 annually for Arroyo Grande's General Fund to support city services like public safety, road repairs, public works, and recreation programs.
