The Arp Police Department has had social media community standards in place for several years. For those who choose not to read or review them, yet question why comments are hidden or why they have been blocked, we have reposted the standards below for your convenience.
We welcome respectful dialogue and productive conversations where individuals conduct themselves like adults. Many cities and law enforcement agencies across the State of Texas have similar guidelines in place.
Our officers have also received death threats directed not only at themselves, but at their families as well. These threats will not be tolerated and have already resulted in active criminal investigations.
As always, we are available if you would like to come in and have an adult conversation regarding Texas law and the rights and responsibilities of Texas Peace Officers.
"Please call 9-1-1 for Emergencies and 903-566-6600 for Non-Emergencies.
