The department just recently embarked on a major project. Over the last few years, the department has added new apparatus to help protect the community. In doing so, the department has ran out of space. So after lots of debate, we have acquired a loan and are adding on to the station. The addition will not only help the department, but will also help the community. Our long term goal is to have the whole station with generators back up power. This will allow us to open the station to the community in times of disasters and power outages. The addition will have a large meeting room, kitchen, ADA bathroom and an office for the chief. Anyone that would like to help with donations toward the loan can send them to 436 Yancey road or contact a member and we would be glad to pick them up. Thanks for your support.

The department is getting started on a big, new project and we need the communities help. We’ve outgrown our station with the addition of the tanker we bought a year ago. The department is adding on a meeting room and kitchen to replace the one we had to turn into a 4th bay for a truck. This area will not only benefit the department, but it will also benefit the community. The station will be completely backed up with generator power. This will make it a place that can benefit the community, if there is a disaster or major power outage. So with that being said, we needs the communities help raising money to pay for it. Anyone that would like to make a donation, please contact me or mail it to 436 Yancey Rd. Arnoldsville, GA 30619. Thanks
