NOW HIRING: Clerk/Treasurer position at the Village of Arnold

The Village of Arnold is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual for a full-time office position, which will transition into the role of Clerk/Treasurer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain official Village records
• Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and minutes
• Processing permits and licenses
• Managing financial operations, including billing, payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Obtain and maintain a surety bond
• Complete a minimum of 8 hours of annual training to maintain Treasurer certification as required by the state auditor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in municipal finance, accounting, or governmental bookkeeping
• Familiarity with Nebraska state financial reporting requirements
• Experience with budgeting and audit coordination

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and office software
• Ability to attend evening meetings as required

COMPENSATION
Starting salary is $19.00 per hour and is negotiable depending on experience.
