It may not look pretty, but we did it again! Congratulations, to our firefighters for winning the Blakes Wing Eating Contest for 3 years in a row! Richmond Volunteer Fire Department is a tough opponent, but we were able to pull ahead and take the win!

We would like to send our personal gratitude to Gail Palmer Hicks for donating her house for training. This was a rare opportunity that she generously provided to us. Over two weeks, we had several invaluable trainings, that we otherwise would not have been able to do without the thoughtfulness and kindness of Gail. We were able to practice skills in a calm and non-emergency environment. This allows us to be more proficient in emergency situations and tone in on our skills. Thank you, Gail Palmer Hicks!

Chief Kohut was sworn in as a Regional Representative to the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs. He is also currently serving as the Vice President of Macomb County Fire Chiefs Association.
Serving in these roles, Chief Kohut promotes a unified commitment to service, coordination, and teamwork among various fire departments throughout the county and state. This cooperation allows him to be an advocate for the needs of Armada and its citizens.

🎉 Congratulations 🎉 to Matt, one of our Part-time FF/EMT's. He was awarded The Chief Gene Shepherd Memorial Scholarship from Roseville Chief Jacob's, sponsored by the Macomb County Fire Chief's Association. This award will assist him towards his Paramedic certification! We are proud of your hard work and dedication towards your education and the fire service!
