Serralta joined U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche and law enforcement leaders at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial to honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and those who later died from service-related illnesses. More than 600 names were read in solemn remembrance of their courage, service and sacrifice.
