There is still time to sign up for the weeklong StART-Up Studio session August 24-28! Teens going into grades 9-12th will have the opportunity to work with expert mentors to learn jewelry making and entrepreneurial skills. Students will be able to use a variety of techniques such as beading, polymer clay, and resin to create their art throughout the week. Join us Thursday, June 11 at Walter Reed Community Center for a free community digital literacy workshop led by Arlington teens. Seniors will participate in a beginner-friendly instructional session focused on mobile device basics, including common phone settings, apps, texting, photos, and everyday technology skills. Participants will also have access to an open lab session with our teen “Digital Gurus,” who will provide one-on-one support and answer technology questions in a welcoming and supportive environment. High schoolers are invited to join us for Career Cafe's Speaker Series this Thursday, April 23 at Arlington Mill Community Center. During this session, Amanda Padilla-Brennan will help your teens gain insight into today’s hiring processes, what makes a strong candidate, and how to prepare for interviews with confidence. Amanda will also share practical tips on positioning yourself for success and explore career opportunities available across the DMV area. The fun continues at Arlington Mill Community Center during Spring Break! Arlington Mill Drop-In will be open March 30-April 3 from 1-7PM with a meal being offered at 4:30PM. Middle and high school teens will be able to use the DJ booth, access the new gaming lounge, have open gym time, and more! This program is free and no advanced registration is required.

Last Friday night was quite the party! With the return of the Battle of the DJs, sensory space, art projects, a lively dance floor and more, we saw over 400 teens at our Amazon After Hours Teen Takeover!

Huge shoutout to Amazon for their partnership and for opening their doors to make this experience possible. Also, thanks to Arlington County Community Arts, Arlington VA Public Library and all the teens who showed up, brought the energy, and made this takeover a night to remember. ⁣
