Today, we remember.

Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, we honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders, public servants, service members, and community members who answered the call in the moments and years that followed.

Here in Arlington, the impact of 9/11 is deeply woven into our community’s history. In recent days, Commissioner of Revenue Kimberley Erin Klingler and members of our team have joined our neighbors at remembrance events across Arlington to reflect on that history, honor those we lost, and recognize the strength and service that carried our community forward.

Today’s commemoration brought together families of fallen members of The Arlington County Police Department and Arlington County Fire Department, public safety personnel, and current and former local, state, and federal leaders in remembrance and reflection. Their presence was a powerful reminder of the lives behind this history and the community that continues to carry their memory forward.

We are grateful to Arlington County Virginia – Government, Arlington VA Public Library, Military Women's Memorial, Amazon.com HQ2, and the many partners, organizers, and participants who created opportunities for our community to gather, remember, reflect, and honor those whose lives were forever changed by September 11.

We will never forget.

Supporting Arlington’s Next Generation of Entrepreneurs!

Our team members recently joined Arlington County Parks and Recreation’s stART-Up Studio Teen Art Entrepreneurship Program to talk with young artists about turning their creativity into a business.

This was our second time presenting to the program, and we loved seeing how engaged the students were and answering their questions about starting a business in Arlington!

Thank you to our partners at Arlington County Community Arts for inviting us back and for supporting Arlington’s young artists and entrepreneurs!

🥫 Thank You, Arlington and the City of Falls Church!

We’re wrapping up Commissioners & Cans with full hearts and full donation boxes!

Thanks to the generosity of our communities, we collected 186 pounds of food and raised $1,478.93 to support the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) and our neighbors in need.

Commissioner of Revenue Kimberley Erin Klingler had the pleasure of delivering the donations, made possible by everyone who contributed throughout August. Whether you dropped off food, made a monetary donation, or helped spread the word, thank you for showing up for our community.

Thank you to Falls Church Commissioner of Revenue Tom Clinton and his team for partnering with us and helping make Commissioners & Cans such a meaningful community effort.

Every donation made a difference. Thank you! 💜🥫
