Our CEO, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Ed Thomas, visited Airmen from the 23rd Wing and 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing at Moody Air Force Base. One thing was clear: leaders, community members, Force Support professionals, spouses, and others across the base are committed to supporting the force.

Visits like this are a reminder of why we work so hard to support our service members and their families. We’re honored to serve the extraordinary Airmen at Moody and across the country.

Losing a loved one is never easy, and unexpected funeral expenses can add another layer of stress.

AFAS can help with qualifying funeral expenses for eligible Airmen and Guardians who have lost a dependent. Assistance is also available to eligible retirees who have lost a dependent spouse and widow(er)s following the loss of their retired service member. Learn more and apply at afas.org.
