Annual fire hydrant flushing and flow testing on Monday & Tuesday, May 11 & 12, and again on Monday & Tuesday, May 18 & 19. This will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on each of these four days. If weather issues cause a postponement, we will post the alternate dates & times.

Residents may experience an orange tint in the water in your house. To alleviate the issue, please run your water lines until they clear up. We appreciate you understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may create in your household.

Why do we flush hydrants? Flushing hydrants annually ensures that they work properly in the event of an emergency. Flow testing safeguards that the water distribution system is flowing the required amount of water for structure fires.

Thank you.
