šŸ“† Tuesday, Sept. 8: Staff professional learning day, no school for students
šŸ« Wednesday, Sept. 9: Classes resume

Please note: Arlington Collegiate High School and Arlington College and Career High School will have school Tuesday, Sept. 8.

What a great day with our students today!

There was so much work leading to this day with planning, professional learning, setting up classes and school spaces, Convocation, revisiting our Mission, creating schedules, and so much more! Seeing our students and families today made it all worth it!

What a special moment it was to welcome back our Thornton Tigers and their families for our Senior Walk!

It was incredible to see former students return to the site where their journey began ā€” this time walking through a brand new building filled with pride and excitement for the future. Our students loved cheering on the seniors and seeing what they can aspire to become one day.

Once a Thornton Tiger, always a Thornton Tiger! We are so proud of each and every senior and wish them continued success as they begin their next chapter.

Teacher Appreciation Week was filled with thoughtful treats and meaningful moments for our incredible educators! We are so thankful for the people and organizations who helped celebrate and support our staff.

What an incredible celebration at our Mariachi for Moms event today!

A huge thank you to the talented Sam Houston High School Mariachi Tejano for sharing their amazing music and helping make the day so special. We were also so proud of our own sixth grade Strings students, who showcased their hard work and talent, and our energetic Cheer team, who brought so much spirit and excitement to the celebration!

Most importantly, thank you to all of the wonderful moms and mother figures who joined us. We loved celebrating you and creating special memories together.
