I am so honored to be named the 2026 IACCPHP Legislator of the Year! 

The people who work in the CCP program are truly special and do incredibly important work every day. I believe theirs must be a career that is respected, valued, and fairly compensated, which is why I have helped champion a wage increase for the Community Care Program for the past two years.    

I’m grateful for this recognition, but even more grateful for the opportunity to keep advocating for caregivers and the individuals and families who depend on these services.
