We had a great time representing Winston County Rescue Squad at Arley Day! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us, support EMS, and spend part of your day with our crew.

A special thank you to the Arley Women’s Club for their generous donation and continued support of our organization and the services we provide to the community. Your kindness and commitment to Winston County truly make a difference.

We would also like to thank RAMS for spending the day with us and helping make the event a success. We always appreciate the opportunity to work alongside great community partners.

⚠️ WEATHER AWARENESS NOTICE ⚠️

Residents of Arley and the surrounding communities are encouraged to stay weather aware throughout the day and overnight as severe storms move across Alabama. According to the latest outlook from ABC 33/40 Meteorologist James Spann, our area has the potential for strong to severe storms capable of damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes.

Please take time now to:
• Review your severe weather safety plan
• Ensure weather alerts are enabled on your phone
• Keep multiple ways to receive warnings overnight
• Charge electronic devices in advance
• Identify a safe place in your home or community

If conditions warrant, the Arley Fire Station,Addison, Upshaw and Helicon Storm Shelters will be opened for public use.

We encourage everyone to monitor trusted weather sources, including ABC 33/40, the National Weather Service, and local emergency officials for updates throughout the event.

We will have all of our equipment there as well as most of our members. We would love to meet our community and tell you the great things we are doing. 🚨 FIRE WEATHER WATCH – SATURDAY (March 28) 🚨

The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather (Red Flag) Watch for Winston County and surrounding areas from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Saturday.

🔥 What to know:
• Winds: 10–15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph
• Humidity: As low as 23%
• Conditions: Fires can start easily and spread VERY quickly

⚠️ Please avoid:
• Outdoor burning
• Burning debris or brush piles
• Anything that could spark a fire (grills, equipment, etc.)

🚫 Follow all local burn bans and use extreme caution outdoors.

👨‍🚒 Help us keep Winston County safe—one small spark could turn into a major fire in these conditions.
