Arkansas City Public Schools - USD 470 is located in Arkansas City, Kan. - about an hour south of Wichita. We serve approximately 3,000 students and are committed to doing what is best for each one. Arkansas City Public Schools is a results-producing public school district. Our district holds a tradition of excellence in all matters related to student achievement and true, well-rounded education.
Ark City students have been on the front lines of achievement and continue the tradition of exceeding learning targets suggested by the state.
