DUMONTELLE WASTE (KANSAS) - IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Tuesday Customers: Please put your garbage out by 6 AM Monday this week.

Unfortunately, we have had a death in the family, and we will have to leave early Tuesday for the funeral. Therefore, we need you to put your garbage out by 6 AM on Monday and leave it out until we can get it picked up. We will be picking up Tuesday's Route over the course of several days, but you will be picked up no later than Wednesday.

We appreciate your help and apologize for any inconvenience.

There will be NO changes NEXT week (New Year's).

Last weekend we had the privilege of attending Dumpster Expo in Texas. We learned a lot of valuable information, met lots of amazing people and made numerous contacts for both the garbage disposal and the Roll-off dumpsters. We even got the chance to meet and chat with Keaton "The Muscle" Hoskins.

🎆 FIREWORKS SAFETY REMINDER 🎆
With the 4th of July celebrations under way, we know fireworks will be lighting up the sky — but let’s make sure they don’t light up the garbage can, garbage truck or the landfill!

🔥 HOT ASHES & USED FIREWORKS
Do NOT put hot fireworks or ashes directly into your garbage can. They can melt the can, and YOU WILL be responsible for the replacement cost.
👉 Instead, soak all used fireworks and ashes in water for at least 24 hours before placing them in your garbage can. This helps prevent fires and keeps your home, our equipment and our crews safe.

🚫 UNUSED or MISFIRED FIREWORKS
These CANNOT go in your curbside can — they are a major fire hazard for our equipment, drivers and landfill staff.
Here’s what to do:
Soak them in a bucket of water for 24 hours.
Place them in a sealed plastic bag to maintqin moisture and take them to the landfill for proper disposal.
