Last night Firefighters from Degray, Caddo Valley, and Arkadelphia Fire Department conducted their annual joint training...

Last night Firefighters from Degray, Caddo Valley, and Arkadelphia Fire Department conducted their annual joint training drill as required by ISO at Newberry Hall on the campus of Henderson State University. Firefighters conducted victim search and rescue training in the basement with Arkadelphia firefighters Josh McGill, Blake Dybala, and Beau Bishop providing valuable instruction. Outside, firefighters received an overview of high-angle rope rescue from retired Degray Fire Chief and Clark County OEM Technical Rescue team leader James Tate, Caddo Valley Captain and OEM rescue technician Shane Seaton and Arkadelphia Firefighter and OEM rescue technician Kevin Tate. Firefighters learned about the complexity of high-angle rescues and what equipment and capabilities were offered by the OEM Technical Rescue Team. We would like to thank Henderson State University for the use of Newberry Hall for this important training
