This past weekend firefighters from Clark and surrounding counties completed the their Introduction to Fire and Personal Protective Equipment classes. This is their first step to becoming firefighters in Arkansas. They were taught the history and structure of the fire service and most importantly how to properly wear and use their protective equipment. We would like to thank Dustin Self from Gurdon Fire Department for instructing the class and Caddo Valley Fire Department for the use of their facility.

Additional there will be a 16 hour Basic Pump Operations Class at Caddo Valley Fire Department with Judsen C**n of Bryant & Caddo Valley Fire serving as the instructor. The class will start Thursday October 1st at 6:00pm and continuing on Saturday, October 3rd for hands on training. You must preregister for pump ops at the link below.

Reminder: There will be an Intro to Fire and Personal Protective Equipment classes on Saturday, September 12th at the Caddo Valley Fire Department at 8:00am.
