Hose Management

We are excited for all of our new members that are moving through probation training eager and ready to learn.

New members trained on hose management. Several have signed up for fire one class and one is in EMT school. We are proud of the hard work they are putting in to make this community better.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for them!

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 โ€” WE WILL NEVER FORGET ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, the Argyle Fire District remembers the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and civilians who made the ultimate sacrifice. We honor the courage of those who ran toward danger while others were running away.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿš’

Short Pulls ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ’ฆ

Training this week focused on bumper line hose operations, including packing the hose and flowing water.

Members worked on improving their deployment time and getting water flowing as quickly as possible after arriving on scene. The goal was to consistently have the bumper line deployed and flowing in under 30 seconds.

Great training, teamwork, and repetition help build the muscle memory needed when seconds count! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ”ฅ

Water Main Break & Boil Water Notice

As many of you on the Argyle Water System know, there was a loss of water last night during the storm that moved through the area around 10:00 PM. Lightning struck a water main, resulting in a disruption to water service.

Today, Waylon Barley and his crew with the Argyle Water System are working to address the issue. A boil water notice is currently being issued to each home in the affected areas.

The affected areas include:

CR 183 S
Sawmill Court
Bradley Lane
Macedonia Church Road
Hosie Adams Road
Richardson Road
Love Lane
Ponderosa Trail

We would like to thank Waylon, his crew, and the Argyle Water System for working on this issue throughout the night and continuing to work today to notify residents and evaluate the water system.

Please follow the instructions provided with the boil water notice until you are notified that the notice has been lifted.

If you have any questions, please contact the Argyle Water System at 850-892-4566.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as they work to resolve this issue.

๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿš’ WATER WARS 2026 IS A WRAP! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ’ฆ

August 15th marked the final Water Wars event for 2026, and the Argyle Fire District crew had a blast getting out in the community and soaking some kids! ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ˜‚

From the looks on their faces, the kids had just as much fun as we did. It was a great way to wrap up the summer, spend time with our community, and make some great memories.

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out and participated in Water Wars this year. We truly appreciate the support from our community! โค๏ธ

Don't worryโ€”we're already looking forward to next year! We plan to be back in 2027 to soak even more kids! ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Until then, stay safe, stay cool, and we'll see you next year!
