In celebration of Argyle’s Scottish heritage, we recognize the birth month of Scottish Economist Adam Smith, whose ideas helped shape modern economic and political thought. 💵

This year is also the 250th anniversary of his influential work, The Wealth of Nations, in which Smith explored topics including free trade, division of labor and the role of markets within society.

He also believed a strong society depends not only on economic success, but also on moral responsibility, human connection and concern for others -- ideas that continue to influence conversations around commerce, leadership and public life today. 👏
