Mark your calendars for the Argusville Fire Department annual Steak Fry on Oct. 23, 2026 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. We will cook for you! For $20 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. Steak made to perfection, potatoes au gratin, or spicy au gratin with jalapeños, or a baked potato. Add in beans, onions, mushrooms plus a dessert. Can’t wait to see you! We also allow you to bring your own favorite beverages to enjoy the evening. Bring some cash for raffles and drawings - we don’t have an ATM.

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM CDT this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA....In North Dakota, Pembina, Eastern Walsh, Nelson, Grand Forks, Griggs, Steele, Traill, Barnes, Cass, Ransom, Sargent, Richland and Western Walsh. *

WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 22 percent. *

🔥 IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

The Argusville Fire Department wishes to extend formal appreciation to all who attended the 41st annual pancake breakfast. The event's success was evident, and we are thankful for our sponsors' support. Our volunteers' dedication to preparing, cooking, cleaning, and organizing was exceptional. We particularly appreciate our Chief Randy and his wife Eilleen's indispensable contributions. To everyone who came out, we thank you for your patronage and hope you enjoyed the breakfast. The list of raffle winners is provided below, and winners will be contacted directly.

Get ready to flip out, we're one week away from our annual pancake breakfast extravaganza! Hope to see you there, hungry and willing to part with some cash for awesome raffle prizes.

Hours: 7:30 - noon, don't sleep in, folks! Remember. It is Daylight Savings and you turn your clocks ahead cause you can’t wait another hour to get this delicious meal.

Cost: Free will offering, because we trust you to pay for the pancakes you will devour.

Food: pancakes made with secret ingredients that will make you question life choices, eggs, eggs with peppers for the brave, hash browns, sausage, bacon because everything is better with bacon, OJ, and coffee to wash down the regret.

Raffle for cash prizes of $500, $200, $100, $100, and $100, because who doesn't love free money? Tickets are 2 bucks, what a steal!

The Hometown Heroes Night 2026 - Fargo Force is one month away on January 17th at 6:05pm. We hope to see you there supporting the event in rasing funds for life saving equipment for First Responders of Cass and Clay County! Here is the list of the 2026 Funding Requests.

As you can see we are ranked #7 on the list, so let make it a great night out and raise all the funds to be able to help out and raise funds for all of this important equipment for all these great organizations.

Argusville Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone who made it out to the Steak Supper last night It was a great evening. Thank you to our amazing chefs, young workers, the many volunteers, and Randy and Eillen Teberg.
A special thank you to Sanders Metal Products for the awesome NDSU Bison signs!! Also Thank you to Scheels, Bell Bank, Harwood Grill and Saloon and Harwood Petro Serve for their donations. Special shout out to Bette Blixt of 1st Impressions on the wonderful job with our shirts.
