MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR IS HERE! The warblers are back in South Ardmore πŸ’ƒπŸ¦πŸ˜
These guys take a long journey from their wintering grounds south (from Florida all the way down into Central America) and return up north to breed. And some of them end up right in our yard!
Every year I wait for them, and hope for their return. And every year is equally amazing when they arrive.
South Ardmore is FILLED WITH BEAUTIFUL BIRDS RIGHT NOW!
Here is a Black and White Warbler, A Redstart, A Yellow Rumped Warbler and a Cardinal photographed yesterday!
Get outside and check them out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday Birds at South Ardmore! 🐦😎😍
I walked the park yesterday around 2 pm, this is typically a quiet time for birds. I saw many of the birds that we can reliably find in the park (see full list below).
Then I went in my back yard to the feeders where I can usually count on some spectacular visitors, and sure enough, they were there. Here are some pics of the feeder birds. Do you have feeders? Please post your bird pics!

I have been waiting to create this page for some time! I am so happy to collaborate with others about the bird species that we see in and around this park! Right now is certainly time for Warblers!!!!!!! The park has been full of them for the past two days. I have counted well over 10 species of Warblers between yesterday and today including:
Blackburnian
Bay Breasted
Chestnut Sided
Black Throated Green
Black Throated Blue
Worm Eating
Black and White
Redstart
Ovenbird
Northern Parula
Magnolia

My pictures are not perfect, but they are all taken here in our park :)
