Tomorrow: We welcome the community to attend a "Community Forum: Increasing Accessibility at the Library" on Saturday, May 30th, from 10am to 11:30am to hear about accessibility changes that have been made at the library in the last year, hear about proposed changes, and share your input about accessibiity changes you need at the library. The APL was awarded a $10,000.00 grant in round 4 of "Libraries Transforming Communities (LTC): Accessible Small and Rural Communities", an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities. The library received a $10,000.00 grant in 2025, and with community input, made accessibiity updates to the library including a push-button operated front door and accessible computer and work stations. Light refreshments will be served.
