Justice Party of Pennsylvania

Justice Party of Pennsylvania Progressive political party that seeks to create a peaceful society where civil, economic, social, and environmental justice prevail. Every voice counts.

Represents people rather than corporations, upholds and defends our Constitutional rights and civil liberties, calls for open, fair, and competitive elections, believes power should be decentralized, communities should have authority to regulate their own affairs and the role of the federal government should be reduced. Rejects the notion of corporate personhood and will end corporate influence in

politics. Seeks environmentally sustainable policies, supports fair taxation, ways to reduce social and economic inequality, and a more community-oriented economy. Promotes a socially just society with equal rights, fair opportunities in education, access to essential health care for all, and respect for diversity and basic human rights.

A truly despicable move by the SRC. This is the kind of unjust procedure that the Justice Party stands against. There is zero transparency or accountability, and no matter what your stance is on unions, this reeks of political chess.

We need to take it further though, and actually legalize! Knowing what we do about ma*****na, we should be developing education around responsible use, and teaching people to respect their bodies and the power that drugs can have over us. But for the time-being, congratulations Philadelphia!

Pretty soon, you won't be considered a criminal for carrying around a little w**d in Philadelphia. Philly Mayor Michael Nutter confirmed Monday that he will sign a bill into law that will make his city the largest in America to decriminalize marij...

Minimum wage campaigns should be the entry point to not only raise the bottom but also to challenge the tricks, skims and scams that concentrate wealth into the hands of fewer and fewer people.

Thinking about running as a third party or independent candidate in PA in 2014? Now is the time to be preparing. The nomination papers and other forms needed to get on the ballot will be available from PA DOS BCEL in the next few days, and the first day to circulate nomination papers for these candidates is March 12.

If you are considering running, you should have someone familiar with it walk you through the process and point out some common pitfalls.

Edward Snowden interview that you probably didn't see, apparently because the US government would prefer you not to see it. Very worth watching.

This past Sunday evening former NSA contractor Edward Snowden sat down for an interview with German television network ARD. The interview has been intentional
