Literally as we were spending time with the kids in the camp the call came to ask if we would help with the rescue of someone still alive from the flood.

The Nepali police did an excellent job extracting the 64 year old woman and we assisted in landing the aircraft for a medical evacuation. The Nepali rescue team are the real heroes—humble men serving in very difficult conditions. We were truly blessed to witness such a miracle.

10 days no food or water…. Physically impossible. Truly God sustained this woman and granted the gift of new life!!!

Sabbath at the camp was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed spending precious time with the kids and families that have lost so much. Heart breaking stories of husbands missing wives and children their parents—out of a community of about 600 only 100 survived.

The kids and families were so thankful we spent time with them in their hour of need. They said most relief groups come and deliver supplies and take pictures but ours was the first group to stay amongst them. Pray for these people. They have a very long journey ahead.

The team spent the weekend in Betrawoti Bazaar helping at a refugee camp ⛺️with the basics—clean water 💧 and sanitation (toilets). It was a tough dirty job but the manager of the camp said he had lost many nights sleep worried about proper sanitation and then our team showed up!!
