District 20 had an awesome day at Kids Day in the Park with Community Youth Services of Southern Oklahoma. What a wonderful turnout and the weather was great!!

It is Administrative Assistant Day and in District 20 we are blessed with an over abundance of highly talented and wonderful assistants who make my job and the job of everyone in our District so much easier. We could not do it without any of you. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to seeking justice.

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. On Wednesdays in April, we wear blue to raise awareness and bring a voice to the innocent victims.

We are so proud of 1st Assistant Patrick Madden for being named Mitch Sperry Legacy Award Winner. He is so deserving of this award!!

We are proud to recognize ADA Pat Madden as the recipient of the Mitch Sperry Legacy Award.

This honor, voted on by the Carter County Multidisciplinary Team, is given to an individual who goes above and beyond to give a voice to children in need and Pat exemplifies that mission every single day.

Through dedication, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to justice, Pat has made a lasting impact on the children and families we serve. His work ensures that some of the most vulnerable members of our community are heard, protected, and supported.

This week is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Join us in raising awareness for victims of all crimes.

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, a time to stand together as a community to protect our most vulnerable citizens—our children.

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, supportive environment free from abuse and neglect. Unfortunately, many children suffer in silence. Raising awareness helps us recognize the signs, support survivors, and hold offenders accountable.

Our office remains committed to working with law enforcement, child advocacy centers, and community partners to ensure that children who are victims of abuse are heard, protected, and supported throughout the justice process.

We encourage everyone to take a moment this month to learn the warning signs of abuse, speak up if something doesn’t seem right, and help create a community where every child is safe.

💙 If you suspect child abuse or neglect, please report it to the appropriate authorities. Your voice could protect a child.
