City of Arden Hills, MN Arden Hills lies in Ramsey County, approximately 8 miles north of the downtown area of St. Paul. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. In the mid-1990s, the U.S.

Arden Hills lies approximately 8 miles north of the downtown areas of both St. It is situated in Ramsey County and covers 9.4 square miles with an estimated population of 9,600. The City serves as home to many large corporations, numerous small to medium size businesses, and two private colleges. Arden Hills & TCAAP
The City was incorporated in 1951. approximately one-third of the City’s land (approximately 4 square miles, 2,370 acres) was owned by the federal government, who operated the Twin Cities Army Am******on Plant (TCAAP), built to support WWII and subsequent mu*****ns needs. Army formally declared 585 acres of this land in the southwest corner as excess, 430 acres for private redevelopment and the remainder for green space and other local public use. The remaining 1,785 acres continue to be used by the Army and the Army Reserve as a training site. Portions of the land the Army is releasing are contaminated and need cleanup before development can begin. The release and development of this land will have a tremendous impact on the future development and character of the City.

The 4th Annual Ribfest hosted by Minnesota Building Trades Beyond the Yellow Ribbon returns on Saturday, Sept. 19. Come to the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division HQ, Arden Hills (4800 Hamline Ave.) for live entertainment, award-winning ribs and family fun!

Free admission and rib tasting tickets available for purchase at the event. All proceeds support Minnesota Service Members, Veterans and Military Families through Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.

The first week of school is here, which means students walking and biking, and school buses! Keep our students safe with a few reminders for motorists.

🚌 Minnesota law requires motorists to stop for school buses with flashing red lights and an extended stop arm. Traffic in both directions must stop on undivided roads.

🚸 Stop and yield to pedestrians and bicyclists in crosswalks. Never pass a vehicle that has stopped for someone crossing the street.

🐢 Reduce your speed in neighborhoods and school zones. Stay alert for children who may be walking, biking or waiting for the bus.

Let's make it a safe start to the school year for everyone! 📚✏️

🐾 Hazelnut Dog Park Temporarily Closed

The Hazelnut Dog Park is temporarily closed this evening while Public Works crews remove a fallen tree and repair damage to the park's perimeter.

🚧 Crews will finish repairs and clean up tomorrow. The dog park will reopen once work is complete.
