FATHER'S DAY WEEK.... Who is ready for chicken?
In case you have not heard, we have a couple of changes this year:

We will be serving the chicken SUNDAY at BRANNING PARK (the pull grounds)

We will have RED ARROWS directing you there if you are not familar with that location:
* Off of ARCOLA ROAD take SIMON STREET
* Off of EME ROAD take REED STREET

WE have a new cooker this year. ANDY'S KNOCKOUT CHICKEN. We have sampled and can say their chicken tastes much like what our Lions and the Fire Department has cooked for years.

We will start serving at 11 AM SUNDAY and will be there until it is gone, or 1 PM.

We are gearing up for our Arcola Lions Club Father's Day Chicken BBQ with some changes this year.
- NEW LOCATION: We will be doing a DRIVE THROUGH @ BRANNING PARK
- NEW CHICKEN COOKER: ANDY'S KNOCKOUT CHICKEN
Their chicken has been sampled and tastes similar to the chicken the Arcola Lions and Arcola Volunteer FD have cooked for years.

All proceeds go to the same causes our Lions Club has supported for years as WE SERVE our community and beyond!

The Arcola Lions Club is deeply saddened to share the passing of our longtime member, Ken Kurtz, on Monday evening.

Lion Ken joined our club in 1959 and dedicated an incredible 67 years to Lions service. His commitment, leadership, and steady presence were instrumental to our work, right up to the very end. He truly embodied the Lions motto, “We Serve,” making a lasting impact on our club, our community, and beyond.

Ken will be greatly missed, and his legacy of service will continue to inspire us all.

View Kenneth W. Kurtz's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.
